AT Version 2.0 Update 12 - Maintenance Release

Archivists' Toolkit Version 2.0 Update 12 is available for download at http://archiviststoolkit.org/download/release/2_0. Installing this release does not require upgrading of AT databases currently set to version 2.0.x.

This maintenance release fixes two reported issues: Deleting of Multiple Assessment Records Fails (https://jira.nyu.edu/jira/browse/ART-2575) and New Versions [4.0 and above] iReport adds an element when saving a report that causes an error with the AT (https://jira.nyu.edu/jira/browse/ART-2548).Read more »

Archivists' Toolkit Version 2.0 Update 11 - Maintenance Release

Archivists' Toolkit Version 2.0 Update 11 is available for download at http://archiviststoolkit.org/download/release/2_0. Installing this release does not require upgrading of AT databases currently set to version 2.0.x.

With this maintenance release, the Archivists Toolkit now supports MySQL 5.5.x and the JRE that is bundled with the AT for Windows download to the latest version (1.6.0_25). Also, users can now auto-save when using the Rapid Data Entry screens.Read more »

Archivists' Toolkit 2.0, Update 10 Maintenance Release

NOTE: In preparing AT 2.0 update 10 for release last week, we inadvertently introduced a bug: beginDate and endDate values were not displaying properly in resource records created using update 10. AT 2.0 update 10B, released 12/26/2010, fixes this problem and is available for download: http://archiviststoolkit.org/download/release/2_0.

All institutions that downloaded update 10 (between 12/19 and 12/26) should uninstall it and replace it with update 10B (installArchivistsToolkit2_0u10B)

High-Level Requirements for AT / Archon Integration Distributed

We are pleased to announce the availability of the first draft of high-level requirements for the integration of the Archivists’ Toolkit (AT) and Archon applications. These high-level requirements reflect all the functionality already current or pending for both the AT and Archon applications. They do not reflect functionality beyond the current development plans for each application, as such functionality would exceed the resources available and time frame for the first phase of the integration project.Read more »

Archivists Toolkit Version 2.0

The AT Project Team is very pleased to announce the public release of version 2.0 of the Archivists’ Toolkit (AT), an open source collection management / metadata authority application funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This release includes new features and supersedes version 1.5.9 released this past May.

New features added to AT 2.0 include:
• Revised Digital Object module, so that Digital Object records can be created and managed independent of Resource records.
• Tab-delimited Digital Object import
• Batch export of Digital Objects

Archivists' Toolkit and Archon to Integrate

In response to an invitation from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the New York University Libraries, University of California, San Diego Libraries, and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Libraries have agreed to submit a collaborative project proposal for the purpose of combining the best features of the Archivists’ Toolkit and Archon into a single hybrid application that will support description, collection management, and access of archival materials.Read more »
